Inspired by two revolutionary ladies – Smt. Surya Devi (a freedom fighter) and Smt. Mohini Sinha (a literary BUT a physically challenged person), the trust was found and named after these great souls, Initially to help handicapped women and girls to become self reliant, but with the passage of time adopted other people in need of resurrection.
The trust has three bodies under its umbrella, named
‘Grihasthi’, ‘React’ and ‘Women’s Empowerment Forum.’
Our Initiatives Three Subsidiaries
1. REACT
REHABILITATION, EDUCATION AND CTREATIVE TRAINING
Our mission is to provide rehabilitation, retreat for unprivileged girls and boys, train them with education and skills.
2. Grihasthi
Our certified trainers aim to provide women with access to a variety of art, making preservatives like, jams, pickles, papads, masalas etc. as well as tailoring, crochet, knitting and embroideries. To organize exhibitions in order to help exhibit and sell the products of their skills learnt and enable them to make them self-reliant.
3. WOMEN’s EMPOWERMENT FORUM (WEF)
Mainly functions as a consensus organizer, works to empower, educate, and sensitize Women with leadership qualities to take up the challenges of Politics as a responsible job.
